Animal Adoption

You can help care for the animals at Nashville Zoo by "adopting" one for yourself or as a gift for someone else. We have many animals available for your care, and just think - there's nothing for you to clean up after!

All adoptions are valid for a one-year period and can be renewed annually.

You may adopt an animal using our secure form, or you may download a PDF Adoption Form.

Please allow 5 business days for the completion of your adoption order.

All adoptable animals may have many adoptive parents. All adopted animals remain in the care and custody of Nashville Zoo, but we hope you will visit often! No ownership rights are conferred by sponsoring an animal. Animals may not be on exhibit at all times, based on exhibit plans and weather conditions. In the event of death or relocation of an animal, a suitable replacement will be selected.
