Tips for registering on Feb. 10:
Because the first day of online camp registration creates lots of traffic on our website we would encourage you to purchase a Zoo membership or renew your current membership if it expires prior to Feb. 10. Nashville Zoo Membership

We also recommend creating your Nashville Zoo online account prior to Feb. 10 to make sure that your registration process goes smoothly. Creating an Online Account. This can also be done when you purchase your membership online.

If registering multiple children or for multiple weeks of camp, place all of your registrations in the cart before proceeding to checkout. This allows you to checkout with one payment. Additionally, the website is designed to only allow a single credit card transaction, on the same credit card, within a specified time frame as a security measure to prevent fraudulent activity.

Camp Week Topics Campers may only register for 2 weeks of summer camp, one week in June and one week in July. Each month has its own unique camp curriculum and each week in the month are identical. This also gives more children the opportunity to attend summer camp.

June: Operation Survival
Dive into a world of camouflage, defense, and adaptation! Campers will learn how animals survive in their environments by looking at animal movement, diets, and what makes each animal unique.

Week 1: June 2 - 6
Week 2: June 9 - 13
Week 3: June 16 - 20
Week 4: June 23 - 27

July: The Scoop on Poop
Campers will discuss tracks, scents, nests, food remains, scat, and other traces left by various animals to understand the scoop on the animal kingdom! In this month of camp, we will explore various methods for studying animals and even learn about some wildlife-related careers.

Week 5: July 7 - 11
Week 6: July 14 - 18
Week 7: July 21 - 25
Week 8: July 28 - August 1

Camp Hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Before-care: 7:30 - 9 a.m.
After-care: 3 - 5:30 p.m.

Ages:
Children ages 5 – 10.
Camper must be of age on the first day of the camp week they are registered for.

Campers are grouped based on age. For special requests for campers to be placed together, please e-mail the camp coordinator at prior to Monday, May 19. First day of camp changes may not be available.

Zoo Summer Camp Registration Process
Members-only registration for summer camp will begin February 10, 2014 at 11 a.m.
Register Online button will appear on the the right side of this page when online registration is available.
Incomplete registrations will not be processed and will not reserve your child’s space in summer camp. Payment is required at time of registration.

If you are not a current Zoo member, renewals and new memberships must be submitted prior to registering for summer camp. The simplest way to become a Nashville Zoo member or renew your membership is online.

Nashville Zoo is offering a limited number of camp scholarships funded by Nashville Zoo. Please complete and submit an application by March 10, 2014 to be considered for a scholarship. Click here to download the Summer Camp Scholarship Form.

Summer Camp Change-of-Week Form
Change-of-Week Policy: A camp change-of-week request form must be submitted online to change a camper’s week. All requests cannot be guaranteed and will be dependent on week availability.

Summer Camp Cancellation Form
Cancellation Policy: All camp cancellations must be submitted using the online Camp Cancellation Form. Cancellation requests submitted 3 weeks prior to registered camp week will receive a 75% refund of original amount paid. Refunds will be paid in the form of a check. Cancellation requests received within three (3) weeks of registered camp week will not receive a refund.
