The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere proudly presents three unique shows at the Zoo's amphitheater located next to the Croft Center. Show season runs from April - October. Join us for these fun and educational performances as we provide our audience with an opportunity to be entertained as they learn about animals from all around the world. Don't be surprised if you become part of the show. Our ever-talented show staff often incorporates members of the audience into the performances.

Practice Makes Perfect

Join the education staff in this more personal format, highlighting animals in various stages of their training. As the animals are taken through the actual training methods, the audience will have the opportunity to actually see a work in progress. It's a real insider's view!

Wings of the World

This venue showcases our incredible bird collection. During this program, our talented feathered friends display their varying abilities and natural behaviors. One of the most exciting things about this show is the chance for people to see the birds in flight - often right over their heads!

It's a Wild Life

You never know who might show up for this performance--wild cats, reptiles, backyard animals, and creepy crawlies! It's a great chance to be educated while being entertained.
